The Admissions Office is in its busy season of welcoming prospective students and their families to campus. Often, they arrive at dropoff and pick up times. To help give visiting families a friendly welcome, please leave parking spaces marked “Visitor” open when you come to campus. Thank you for your cooperation!
We invite all families to attend a performance by our seventh and eighth grade students of the musical Shrek on Tuesday, March 10 at 6:00 p.m.
Come join Ms. Serpa from the After-School Program and friends for a fun-filled week of crafts, games, science, and exploration during Spring Vacation Camp from March 16-20. Activities will include cooking, a wood shop project, sports, forts, and more. Open to students in Early Childhood through Grade 5. The cost is $285. Space is limited, so register now!
Would you be interested in being a sponsor for the 2020 Amicus? Our yearbook represents all grade levels, special events, and memories of the 2019-20 school year. As a fundraiser, we ask our parents, friends, and businesses in the local community to help support our yearbook. We are able to offset our printing costs through the generosity of donors. Every contribution helps significantly and is greatly appreciated by all of us! Download the sponsorship letter to learn how to make a contribution.
Middle School (6-8) Announcements
- Seventh Grade Standardized Testing
- Eighth Grade Families: Place a Message to Your Graduate in the Yearbook
- Middle School Dance: Friday, Feb. 28
All seventh graders will take the Benchmark SSAT in school on Friday, April 24. This will give us standardized test results that will correlate more closely to the SSAT scores that most eighth grade students will have to submit as part of the secondary school process.
Those students with documentation will be able to take the test with most approved accommodations on the same day. Please speak to your Division Head if you have any questions about accommodations.
Mr. Lobato and Ms. Trepanier will offer an SSAT preparation course this summer from August 3-7 for interested rising eighth graders. The course includes a subscription to Test Innovators, an online review platform. You may register through the Summer Programs portal. Please sign up soon to be guaranteed a spot.
This year, the Amicus will have a special page where you could both congratulate your child as well as support our publication. For $25.00, eighth grade parents can include a personal message in a space the size of approximately a business card.
Please consider a message to your upcoming graduate as well as our regular sponsor options. Space is limited, so please respond by Monday, March 2. Return this form along with payment to the main office Attn: Wendy Goldsmith, Re: Amicus.
On Friday, February 28, all enrolled middle school students are invited to a dance from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Herring Lobby. The theme is the ‘80s! Students should bring $8 to the door and be picked up promptly at 9:00 p.m.
